Publius ("we," "our," or "us") is published by PlayX Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally

Publius stores your learning progress (completed lessons, card positions, and streak data) locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Analytics Data

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App. This may include:

• App opens and session duration
• Lessons started and completed
• Quiz completion rates
• Device type and operating system version

This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Crash Reports

We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports to fix bugs and improve stability. Crash reports may include device information and app state at the time of the crash but do not contain personal information.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal contact information
• We do not require account creation or login
• We do not collect location data
• We do not access your camera, microphone, or contacts
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties for advertising purposes

3. Data Storage

Your learning progress is stored only on your device. If you uninstall the App, this data will be deleted. Anonymous analytics data is processed by PostHog and Sentry on their respective servers in accordance with their privacy policies.

5. Children's Privacy

Publius is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
